Bio
Iain M Banks published his debut novel The Wasp Factory in 1984. He went on to write 28 more novels, with his literary fiction published as Iain Banks and his science fiction under what he called "the World's Most Penetrable Pseudonym title" Iain M. Banks. His first science fiction novel was 1987's Consider Phlebas. He died in 2013.
