Katie McQue is a New York–based investigative reporter, and US correspondent for The Observer. Her work has been published by The Washington Post, The Guardian, The New York Times and many others. She has received multiple awards, including the UN International Labour Organization’s Global Media Competition on Labour Migration; the Washington DC Dateline Club’s Online Investigative Reporting Award, the Robert D.G. Lewis Watchdog Award; the New York Deadline Club’s award for Business Investigative Reporting; a finalist for Investigative Reporters and Editors’ Tom Renner Award for coverage of organised crime and other criminal acts; and second place for the National Press Club’s Michael A. Dornheim Award for defence reporting, and second place for the Fetisov Awards' Contribution to Civil Rights category.
