Martin MacInnes is author of the novels Infinite Ground, Gathering Evidence and In Ascension, which was longlisted for the Booker prize. He is the winner of a Somerset Maugham Award, the Scottish Book Trust New Writers Award and a Manchester Fiction Prize.
